The best of interior decoration I have ever seen, awesome creativity! Cool ideas, but some of these are totally removed from possibility if you're renting. You try getting an apartment complex to OK a renter bolting a bed to the ceiling. Also try getting an apartment rental that has ceilings you trust to hold your bed.

As a college student wrote, this post stood out. I always have the problem of too many things in too little of a space. If this post was available while I was organizing my room, I would have been able to avoid the problem completely. I will definitely be referring to this post in the future. Such creative an innovative ways to organize. Awesome pictures and unique architecture. Great post, thank you for sharing! heart_eyes

In-home services, delivery, and consultations will pervade the market.

Consumers no longer want to leave the house to buy commodities. So, what will retailers do to reach these customers? We anticipate that many merchants (particularly those selling commodities) will try to engage customers by connecting with them in their homes.

Companies such as Enjoy, which hand-delivers and sets up electronics for consumers, will expand, and other retailers (especially grocers) will ramp up their home delivery services.

Signs of this happening include Postmates, the on-demand delivery platform, continuing to extend its services beyond food delivery. The company has added more retailers to its delivery network in 2017, and it will likely add more in 2018.

Healthy and environment-friendly lifestyles will be a focus for many consumers.

Consumers will be increasingly mindful of their purchases. More and more shoppers are choosing products that are sourced responsibly and are good for their bodies and the environment.

One retailer that's adjusting its strategy to fit this trend? CVS. In 2017, CVS unveiled plans to accelerate a retail renovation project that puts more focus on health and nutrition. According to USA Today, the retailer plans to "implement the new format at several hundred stores by the end of 2018, demonstrating the company's commitment to remake itself as a beacon of healthy living rather than a place devoted primarily to treating illnesses and selling candy bars."

Retailers will increasingly rely on robots.

While we might see a few robots talking to shoppers on the shop floor, we expect bots to play a bigger role in supporting retail operations. One example? Fulfillment centers.

Companies such as Amazon are investing in robots to help pack and ship items. In 2017, the retail giant had robots in about 20 percent of its fulfillment centers, and we anticipate this number to grow. We'll also see more robots online, in the form of chatbots.

According to Ubisend's 2017 Chatbot Report which surveyed 2,000 consumers, the "majority of consumers are aware of what a chatbot is (57%) and over a third (35%) want to see more companies using chatbots to answer their questions."

Retail trends for 2018: Grocery eCommerce in the US Reaches a tipping point!

There are several factors for why grocery eCommerce adoption in the US has been slower than their international counterparts; geography, logistics, and consumer preference have been first and foremost. So what has changed?

There have been two major contributors that make 2018 a year for explosive growth in this category:

1. Investment into the enabling technologies: According to CB Insights, an estimated $5B was invested across 315 supply chain and logistics startups in 2016. These investments have enabled major technological leaps in the efficiency of the last mile, which grocery specifically relies upon.

One way to protest the loss of medical care and raising the price for medical care is to just die, or commit suicide. You just die and it will take millions of dollars away from the rich. Just die. Screw you, I am just going to die, and you won't make a penny off my cancer. You want to charge me $600 for some medicine I can buy at any drugstore in Asia for $2. The hell with you, I am just going to die and make sure you don't get a penny. You want to take away my home? No problem, I will burn it down by accident.

#JustDie, the only thing you can do to politicians that are trying to kill you anyway.

Isn't this all Premature? The New Tax Bill hasn't even been Passed Yet! Not a Democrat representing any of their areas would even show up to voice anything to improve the bill at all... The New Taxes May Be Exactly like they Have Been with Nothing Passed. If it is Passed and All the Bad Stuff is what this Article Says, Yahoo, the Media, and All the Democrat Senators and Congressmen can be Blamed for Not a One showing up at that Tax Reform Meeting President Trump Conducted to get their Voice Input to Improved that Bill so that none of these bad things this article brings out would be there.

All Democrats are to Blame, and not Trump or any Republicans. Trump Gave All the Democrats a Chance and They Blew It. All Democrats had No Voice, thanks to their Representatives. They Blew the Chance, and only New Democrats that will give Voice Need Elected after this. As a Democrat, All Democrats should be very angry at their Representatives. They should get rid of all those old ones and get new people!

Great article! Interesting to see insights on the products that are abandoned most. Automated cart and checkout abandonment implemented thoughtfully can go a long way to nudging customers to complete the purchase.

Something thing I've learned after working with many online retailers selling luxury items, is that consumers often complete the purchase on a computer not always because the mobile experience wasn't optimized, but because it feels more secure and concrete making a substantial purpose from their computer. This is gradually changing, but it is a psychological factor to consider, and another reason why cart abandonment emails should work across different devices.

All food stamp spending should be regulated, with requirements for "healthy food" spending, the same as WIC is regulated. I am tired of my tax dollars being wasted on soda, junk food, and TANF dollars being withdrawn for use on liquor, cigarettes, and casinos. There should also be a crackdown on the illegal sale/trade of food stamps for 50-70 cents on the dollar so the seller can purchase drugs. This money is supposed to feed the poor, not support an illegal drug habit.

There are always people who truly need help through no fault of their own, but now we have entire generations of families who view welfare as a way of life and feel they are entitled to my tax money. Democrats encourage poverty and dependence on governmental programs designed specifically to keep poor and disadvantaged people "in their place". It's the new slavery and the Democrats who own the plantations are entirely to blame.

Welfare reform should require job skill set training that is marketable and will allow the person to get off welfare forever. Not these job training program that get you in debt for a job that does not pay the bills. Welfare should not be all or nothing. A person should be able to work their way off welfare without the benefit being cut off just because they find a job that does not pay enough to live. There also should be a time limit of how long you can receive government help.

The people who will have a higher tax bill are those that have not been paying their fair share, due to itemization. Why should you pay less than me because you pay more interest on your debts. Why should you pay less than me because you have kids and I don't. Have my city taxes are already going to the schools for your kids. If everybody would just pay a fair share, and the politicians would spend the tax money responsibly, we would all be ok...

Get rid of unemployment welfare when you can guarantee a job with a living wage for every able bodied adult in the country with affordable child and elder care and health care (including daycare for disabled children where appropriate) in every part of the country. When you can be CERTAIN that no one needs it, get rid of it. Not before.

Then you can put what it costs into ensuring that the elderly, those unable to work through no fault of their own (disabilities, etc) are properly looked after by their country and not tossed on the trash heap. Starving people into jobs that don't pay the bills and leave them in worse poverty isn't the answer. No full time job should pay less than it costs to live.

There are two more things that need done:

1) Every public assistance program needs a vigorous anti-fraud unit with the authority to kick people off the program for keeps if they are caught abusing the program.

2) Every public assistance program must recognize benefits provided by other programs that cover the same need as "income" for the purpose of eligibility. No more picking up three checks to help with the heat, cashing two and spending the money on luxuries.

We have needed welfare reform for years. People grow up knowing how to play the system and live for free. It's about time they worked! All the hundreds of dollars I see people using for food stamps, getting free rent, popping out kids and all so they can get everything free! It's time it stopped!

Take some of them and gave them work in government funded daycares, while the rest get other jobs. No more hand outs. Drug tests mandatory if u receive assistance. If you go to jail or fail the drug test your kicked off the program. There problem solved!

"There is no better time economically and politically to tackle welfare reform and enable millions of Americans to experience the power of work."

Sounds good, but can we start with those in Congress? Voting themselves raises, pensions and health care for life (not Obamacare) and other perks. All the while they barely pass legislation and sling mud at each other in a dog and pony show for the public. I guess they're too busy sexually assaulting random people to actually do their jobs. They may not be poor, but they're sure getting a lot of welfare for what little they do. So as much as I'd like to see welfare reform, we should start at the top. Roll back salaries, term limits and put them on ACA before tackling the little guys at the bottom. If we don't clean up the top there is no way we can expect effective reform elsewhere.

Of course the talking point for the liberals is they are going to push grandma over a cliff. Their argument is so tired. Cutting the growth of anything is not cutting off that program or the amount of money people are receiving now. It's not allowing the growth of these programs to destroy themselves from the inside out. It's about giving people hope and opportunity, through jobs and better pay. Think about the money that can be saved just by enforcing our immigration laws. Of course the left will say that illegal immigrants aren't a drain on our welfare system. The facts are just the opposite to the tune of billions of dollars a year. So stop the growth, root out the abuse, and give people on welfare hope and opportunity. I'll stand at the bottom of the cliff to catch grandma.
